Discontinuation of Stade on Google Play

Dear Stade users, this announcement is regarding the removal of Stade from Google Play.

Starting September 12, 2026, Stade will no longer be available on Google Play. The primary reason for this is that the Google Play review team cannot keep up with our fast-paced update schedule, which often leaves APK and desktop users far ahead of Google Play users (for instance, the current version is 0.2.4, while Google Play is still stuck on 0.2.2).

Google takes an exceptionally long time to review every new update, especially for small-scale projects like ours. Each review takes nearly a week, which significantly disrupts our release cycle.

Therefore, as of September 12, 2026, Stade will no longer be listed on the Google Play Store. Updates for both mobile and desktop will continue to be published under the GitHub Releases section.

This does not mean Stade will never appear on official app stores again. Once our update cycle slows down and Stade reaches a more stable, mature state, we may return to Google Play.
